Entrepreneurship event Mon., Aug. 6

Monday night, Aug. 6, EarlyShares – an equity-based crowdfunding platform – is bringing its crowdfunding educational roadshow to Memphis so area business owners and investors can get introduced to a new business-building and investment concept.

The roadshow will stop at the Memphis Bioworks Conference Center at 20 South Dudley St. from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. At the event, EarlyShares’ CEO Maurice Lopes will present and answer questions on how this new type of funding can help build businesses and grow investment portfolios, and Allan Daisley, the Memphis Bioworks Foundation’s director of innovation and entrepreneurship also will speak.

Memphis Bioworks Foundation and LaunchYourCity have partnered with EarlyShares for the daylong event. It’s free to attendees and is part of EarlyShares’ 24/24 Nationwide Crowdfunding Educational Roadshow.
