Menchie’s Opens First Memphis Yogurt Store in Cordova

Menchie’s, the world’s largest chain of self-serve frozen yogurt stores, is celebrating the grand opening of its first Memphis shop Saturday, July 7 in Germantown Station, 750 N. Germantown Parkway.

Encino, Calif.-based Menchie’s was founded in 2007 and has more than 200 stores. The shop, locally owned by husband-and-wife franchisees Chekib and Karima Kchouk, had a soft opening last week.

Menchie’s in Germantown Station marks the company’s eighth Tennessee location. Germantown Station is Gill Properties’ new 19,000-square-foot, 11-bay retail center built on the site of the former Memphis Area Home Builders Association headquarters and now anchored by CVS/Pharmacy.

Menchie’s offers more than 100 rotating frozen yogurt flavors and more than 70 rotating toppings. The shop will have seven days worth of giveaways starting Saturday.
