Supporters of the recently unveiled revitalization project at the Tennessee Brewery, which I first wrote about earlier this month, are thinking about holding a contest there once everything is under way. The contest would be for aspiring chefs who would get access to a food truck for a day.
The winner, according to Taylor Berger, could become the chef at the Truck Stop restaurant in Midtown.
Berger is part of a team preparing to take short-term ownership of the Tennessee Brewery, with plans to bring a variety of uses to the site from roughly the last weekend in April through the last weekend in May. Details are still forming, but the plan he’s already talked about publicly involves the possibility of a beer garden, food trucks and possibly live music.
