“So Long to the Champ”
Frank McRae, a former Methodist minister in Memphis, kicked off Mayor Herenton’s retirement party Thursday afternoon with a sentiment no doubt shared by many present in the Hall of Mayors at City Hall:
“So long to the champ. It’s been an interesting time together.”
