A Chance of Snow at Graceland

Memphis’ most-renowned residence will kick off the holiday season tomorrow night with family-friendly festivities and a host of festive displays, including an original life-size Nativity set that belonged to Elvis Presley himself.

This year’s Graceland Annual Christmas Lighting Ceremony will support the American Red Cross. The event is open to the public and Santa will be on hand for photographs with the kids.

Lee DeWyze, winner of the ninth season of “American Idol,” will have the honor of flipping the switch, illuminating Graceland in a sea of blue light in honor of Presley’s classic holiday hit, “Blue Christmas.”

Just be sure to bundle up; Elvis Presley Enterprises Spokesman Kevin Kern said there’s “a chance of snow tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. at Graceland.”

If you can’t make it to the mansion tomorrow night, the event will be streamed live.

If Lee DeWyze sings "Blue Christmas" please be sure to feature that in your video recaps of the night's festivities.

    Thank you.
